Shipping via Purolator or Canada Post is free of charge when ordering any new machine from the Dyson Store. We aim to deliver the machine(s) within 2-7 business days, subject to availability. Please note that there are a small number of postal codes, usually in remote rural areas, to which we may not be able to deliver within this timescale.

Expedited shipping: $25.00

If you need your machine in a hurry, we also offer an expedited shipping option via Canada Post to major cities – your order will be delivered within 2 business days. Simply switch to the expedited shipping option in the checkout. Please note that there are a small number of postal codes, usually in remote rural areas, to which expedited shipping is not available.

Accessories and Spare Parts: $5.99

Shipping for accessories and spare parts is $5.99. Orders will be shipped within 2-7 business days via Canada Post.

When will my delivery arrive?

Delivery is Monday to Friday 9am – 6pm local time, not including statutory holidays. If a delivery cannot be completed (for example, if you’re not home), the carrier will leave a notification at your door indicating where you can pick up your order.

If ordering multiple products your order may be delivered in multiple shipments. This is to ensure that your order is delivered as soon as possible.

How do I track my order?

You will be sent a notice of shipment email with tracking information upon the shipment of your order.

Can I ship to a PO Box?

Shipping to PO boxes is not available due to package size restrictions.

Can I ship to a different address than my billing address?

Yes you can, however please note that different billing and shipping addresses may cause a slight delay in delivery time due to our order verification process.

What happens if I’m not home to receive my shipment?

Since a signature is always required, please try to make sure someone is home to sign for your package. The carrier will make one delivery attempt, and if nobody is available to sign for the package you'll have two options:

1)    Contact your selected carrier to arrange for a second delivery attempt.

or

2) Pick up the package from your local Purolator depot or Canada Post office. In order to determine at which location your package is being held, look up the package using the tracking number shared via email or contact the carrier. Be sure to bring one piece of mail with your name on it and a government-issued ID when you pick up your order.

What happens if my order was ‘returned to sender’?

If your order is not picked up from your either your local Purolator depot or Canada Post office within the time listed on your delivery notice it will be returned to sender. In the event that this happens, please contact Dyson Canada via email at service@dysoncanada.ca or by phone at 1-877-397-6622.

What are some tips for styling with the Dyson Corrale™ straightener?

  • Loosen grip: Because the flexing copper plates shape to gather your hair, you can loosen your grip when styling, letting the machine do the work for you.
  • Style speed: Flexing copper plates allow you to style hair in one, slow pass vs. multiple quick passes. To slow down your movements, try using one second per inch as a baseline. Speed may vary by hair type.
  • Tress size: The perfect tress size will depend on your hair type. Try a few different section sizes and see what works best for you. If you have coarse hair, begin with a smaller section. If you have fine hair, try larger sections for a smoother glide.
  • Styling your ends: If you have fine hair, it may be difficult to style your ends. For a smooth glide, try styling the roots and mid-lengths of hair first, and style the ends last so you can take larger sections of hair. This allows the flexing copper plates to fully gather the section of hair.

How does the Dyson Corrale™ straightener compare with other straightening tools on the market?

Unlike conventional straighteners that use solid plates, the  Dyson Corrale™ straightener is the only straightener that uses flexing copper plates to shape and gather hair, enabling enhanced styling with less heat. This enables you to achieve the same style but with half the damage¹, reduced frizz and fewer flyaways.²

The Dyson Corrale™ straightener may feel different than a conventional straigthener when you first pick it up. The weight is balanced in the hand to give maximum control when styling, and allows you to loosen your grip to let the flexing copper plates do the work for you.

How much run time does the battery give you?

From full charge, you can achieve up to 30 minutes cord-free styling³ from the Dyson Corrale™ straightener. Exact run time depends on your hair type and styling habits. A full charge takes just 70 minutes. To maximize your run time, place on the charging dock when not in use and in between styling sections. The OLED screen and chime will indicate that your machine is charging properly.

What do you mean by flexing copper plates?

Our flexing copper plates are precision machined to the width of a human hair with 15 micro-hinged segments on each plate. This means they can flex and adapt to hair, controlling it during styling. They are made of a manganese copper alloy, chosen for its strength, flexibility and thermal conduction.

How can it straighten my hair if the plates are flexible?

Our manganese copper alloy plates create just the right amount of flex to gather hair for extra control, while also generating the tension required for effective straightening. The result is enhanced styling with less heat – and therefore half the damage¹. 

What temperature do the plates reach? What temperature is needed for optimum performance? Does the temperature impact the damage caused to my hair?

The Dyson Corrale™ straightener has three different temperature settings: 330°F, 365°F and 410°F. The optimum temperature for styling will depend on your hair type and the style you are trying to achieve. Damage from extreme heat increases with the amount of heat you apply to the hair. We therefore recommend starting at the lowest temperature setting and increasing the temperature if needed. The Dyson Corrale™ straightener’s flexing copper plates allow you to achieve your same style but with less heat, therefore half the damage.¹ 

Can I put this hair straightener in my bag directly after use?

Yes. The Dyson Corrale™ straightener comes with a heat-resistant travel pouch to store your straightener when it's in your bag. However, we recommend always allowing your straightener to cool before storing it in the pouch. A Safety lock also secures the plates for storage after use.

Can I fly with this hair straightener, even though it's battery operated?

Yes. The Dyson Corrale™ straightener has a Flight-ready feature that disconnects the battery, designed to adhere to International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) regulations.⁴ Please always check with your airline before you fly and place your Dyson Corrale™ straightener in your hand luggage.
