More than a plug
The PRCD plug (Portable Residual Current Device) is engineered for your safety when using the Dyson Airstrait™ straightener. Dyson engineers designed the plug to include key electronic elements. By moving these to the plug, it removed weight and bulk from the machine itself.

The straightener’s powerful air drying technology for wet to dry use requires a PRCD plug to test the electrical current for safety. Such plugs are on a variety of electrical appliances, particularly in proximity to water or water vapour.

Each machine is hygienically deep cleaned, tested, and inspected to meet the Dyson quality standard. Genuine Dyson parts are used where replacements are needed.
Unfortunately, refurbished machines cannot be returned and are final sale.
Yes, all refurbished machines are covered by a Dyson warranty – for one or two years. Please check the machine page for complete information on the warranty.
