Why Purify
Wellbeing starts with the air around you
Pollutants affect how you feel, sleep and live – so HushJet™ projection tackles them all. Capturing particles, removing gases and odours⁶, and projecting purified air quickly and quietly. It continuously circulates and refilters the air, helping create cleaner, more comfortable days.
-
Tackles allergens and pet dander
Air carries pollen, dust and pet dander. HushJet™ Big+Quiet purifier reduces your exposure to allergens, for a healthier home for you and your family.
-
Supports sleep comfort
Invisible pollutants from outside traffic and burning can enter your home. HushJet™ projection is engineered to capture them – delivering powerful purification that’s as quiet as a whisper in Sleep mode.
-
Removes pollutants from everyday living
Cosmetics, new furniture and building materials can release pollutants. Three-stage HushJet™ filtration removes ultra-fine particles, destroys formaldehyde, and captures odours emitted,⁶ creating a comfortable home environment.
-
Captures odours⁶
HushJet™ Big+Quiet purifier tackles everyday stubborn household odours, including pet and cooking odours, plus tobacco smoke.⁶
-
Electrostatic particulate filter
Charged fibres attract and trap particles like magnets, capturing ultrafine pollutants down to 0.01 microns.⁵ It removes dust, pollen and allergens efficiently while maintaining strong airflow and performance.
Grass, tree, and flower pollen (PM10)
Fireplace and candle smoke (PM2.5)
Home dampness (PM10)
Exhaust fumes (PM2.5)
-
Formaldehyde destructive layer
Breaks down formaldehyde at a molecular level, rather than storing it. This ensures harmful gases are permanently destroyed, not released back into the air.
Pressed wood (MDF, plywood, chipboard)
Furniture (especially flat-pack)
Paints, varnishes and glues
Gas appliances and smoke (cooking, candles)
-
Activated carbon layer
Targets gases and odours⁶ that particulate filters cannot capture. Its porous structure absorbs volatile organic compounds (VOCs), smoke and household smells, helping to clean the air beyond visible particles.
Pet or food waste odours (PM2.5)
Cigarette smoke (PM2.5)
Nail polish remover (PM2.5)
Vinyl flooring and shower curtains (PM2.5)
-
Electrostatic filters
Electrostatically charged filter material attracts and traps microscopic particles, without restricting airflow. Delivering HEPA-level performance – with lower energy consumption and quiet operation.
-
HEPA filters
Some HEPA filter membranes can quickly clog with microscopic dust, restricting airflow. This can reduce purification effectiveness and increase noise and maintenance. It’s why HEPA isn’t always the best filtration solution.
-
App control
Remotely control airflow speed, Auto mode, Sleep mode and other settings – to tailor your indoor environment.
-
Smart home enabled
Connects with Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home and Siri Shortcuts for effortless, reliable smart home control.
-
Filter alerts
Tracks filter life on the LCD screen and MyDyson™ app – so you can replace non-washable filters at the right time.
-
Real-time data
Keep up with the conditions in your home. With Auto mode on, your purifier adjusts to air quality changes and removes pollutants automatically.
Additional features
-
Auto mode
Constantly monitors your air quality, automatically adjusting airflow to save energy – purifying only when it’s needed.
-
LCD screen & remote control
View the air quality your machine detects and responds to, minute by minute. The remote control lets you adjust airflow, oscillation and settings.
