How and when to clean/replace your Dyson filter
Your Dyson vacuum cleaner may include one or more filters that need to be cleaned to keep your machine operating at its best. Washing your Dyson filter is quick and easy.
1. Turn off
and disconnect your machine at the wall socket.
2. Remove your Dyson filter(s)

3. Wash filters in cold water only
(don’t use detergent or wash in a dishwasher or washing machine). Rinsing under the water supply then gently squeezing the water out of the filter. Repeat until the water runs clear.
4. Dry filters
by leaving them in a warm place for 24 hours, until completely dry.
NB: Don’t dry the filter in a tumble dryer, microwave or near a naked flame.
5. Replace the filters
