The Diffuser works by gently dispersing airflow and maintaining even heat distribution. Recommended settings are low-medium heat and low-medium airflow. You can place hair into the Diffuser and scrunch up to the root, holding the Diffuser in place until dry. Alternatively, you can choose to hover the Diffuser over the hair until dry.
The vanes seen at the inlet, as well as the mesh near the outlet, has been designed to ensure the airflow is spread evenly across the Diffuser, avoiding over drying or damp patches in your hair.
The Diffuser can be used on any hair type if it is being used with the hovering technique to set a style in place. The scrunch technique where you place hair into the Diffuser and scrunch up to the root, holding the Diffuser in place until dry works best on wavy, curly, and coily hair.
The attachments are fully compatible with previous Dyson Airwrap™ machines.
