Checking for blockages

Remove the loop amplifier by turning it anti-clockwise until it comes away from the Main body.

Check for blockages and remove as necessary.

Lower the loop amplifier onto the base, aligning the arrows.

Once aligned, turn the loop amplifier clockwise to lock.

Test the machine

The fan has a strong, smooth airflow when switched on. The airflow should be strong enough to lift a sheet of newspaper past 45 degrees.

Hold a newspaper approximately 2 meters (6' 6'') away from the product with the airflow control dial turned to maximum.

Wipe the machine

WARNING: Do not use polish or detergent on any part of the machine.

Check between the Main body and loop for any obstructions.

Point the remote directly at the front of the machine while pressing a different option.

Do the other functions on the remote work?

Press and hold the On/Off button on the machine to sequentially increase and decrease the airflow.

Do the controls on the machine itself work?

Test the machine

Press and hold the On/Off button on the machine to sequentially increase and decrease the airflow.

Does the airspeed change using the controls on the machine?

Check the feet are attached correctly

Ensure all the feet are attached to the base of the machine.

Place the fan on a flat, non-slip surface.

Change the remote battery

Unscrew the remote control's battery compartment.

Loosen the base and pull it away from the remote. Replace the battery with type CR 2032.

Switch off and unplug the machine.

Unplug the machine for at least 5 seconds or until the LED goes out.

Plug the machine back in and retest.

Reset the machine

Unplug the machine for at least 5 seconds or until the LED goes out.

Plug the machine back in and retest.

This issue can occur if the machine is running and the power is cut e.g. plug pulled out, power cut etc.

Unplug the machine for at least 5 seconds or until the LED goes out.

Check that the household electrics are on.

Check the plug and power cord for signs of damage.

Try the machine in a different plug socket.

To reset the machine, turn the power off (using either the power button on the remote or the Main body), wait 60 seconds and then turn back on.

How to use

  • Press the Standby button on the appliance to turn ON/OFF.
  • Press and hold the Standby button on the appliance to adjust the airflow.
  • Airflow will increase to a maximum before decreasing.

Please note, the oscillation and timer functions cannot be operated without the remote control.

Power

To operate, point the remote control toward the front of the base and press the standby ON/OFF button. Alternatively press the standby ON/OFF button on the Main body.

Please note, the remote control can be attached to the top of the appliance with the buttons facing down.

Oscillation

Toggle oscillation on or off with the remote.

Airflow

Airflow can be set by the airflow buttons on the remote.

Airflow can also be set on the machine. Press and hold the power button to roll through settings 1 to 10.

Sleep timer

To set the sleep timer, select the desired time.

When the time reaches zero, the appliance will go into standby mode.

To cancel, reduce the time until two dashes appear.

Carefully hold the base and the top of the air loop amplifier.

Attach the remote control to the top of the appliance with the buttons facing down.
