Dyson Airstrait™ straightener (Nickel/Copper)
Catch up on our latest hair care technology with the Dyson Airstrait™ launch event.
Featuring live styling demonstrations.
Our latest hair care technology uses high-pressure airflow to straighten hair as it dries. Air is precisely heated and projected evenly through the tress as you style – with no need for extreme heat.¹
Airflow is projected downwards at a 45° angle to create the tension needed to align hair for a smooth end style – with less damage and breakage.²
A 13-blade impeller spins up to 106,000rpm, propelling 11.9 litres of air through the machine per second. This generates 3.6kPa of air pressure, powerful enough to straighten hair as it dries.
Watch our quick, step-by-step guides to wet-to-dry straightening using the Dyson Airstrait™, designed to simplify your styling routine.
Pin and roll for lift and volume with a ‘90s-inspired ‘Rachel’ look.
A polished, everyday look, straightened from wet.
Smooth and stretch hair to create the base for your extended looks.
The Dyson Airstrait™ dries and straightens hair simultaneously. Take hair from wet to finished look – with one machine.
When hair is wet, its hydrogen bonds are more pliable and easier to 'reset'. Using a combination of moisture and airflow, hair can be styled effectively – without heat damage.¹
Using lower temperatures and resetting the hair's bonds from wet mean its internal structure is protected, so it can reflect more light, for a shiny finish.
Maintain strength.³ Protect shine.¹ Our latest hair care innovation combines our expertise in airflow with everything we've learned about hair styling to pioneer a new way to straighten – without heat damage.¹
Yes, you can use the Dyson Airstrait™ to touch-up and refresh your style from dry. To use on dry hair, select Dry mode and choose between the pre-set temperatures, depending on your hair type and intended style.
Your Dyson Airstrait™ will enter auto-standby after five minutes of inactivity when the arms are left open, or three minutes if the arms are locked. The LCD screen will turn off and you'll need to press the power button to turn the machine back on.
Your straightener has been precisely engineered for styling at the voltage of the country in which it was purchased. This allows it to run at optimum performance. As voltage varies from country to country, please follow the guidance on usage in the guarantee section of your user manual.
To maintain optimum performance, your Dyson Airstrait™ straightener needs regular care and maintenance. We recommend cleaning the filter once a month. Debris should be wiped from the outer filter cage and from the inner filter mesh using a soft, dry cloth.
