Exceptional and worth every penny!

Purchased this model because both my husband and I have allergies. We also have an open concept home with a large room (over 1000 sq feet) where we do the majority of our living. Due to its openness it is harder to heat in the Fall and winter. At night we use the Pure Hot + Cool in our bedroom on the Night time cool cycle Auto to keep the air purified and during the day we move it to the living area and set the temp on Auto. So many options to suit all our needs. We are both now breathing easier at night and saving energy during the day by not heating up the entire house. The Night Mode fan is super quiet, the heat with temp set as well as oscillating is so flexible it will suit everyone's needs. I knew when I bought this that it was not an air conditioner (I read the specs and reviews) but rather, it will move the air and does it from 1 to 10 speeds. It also can be moved to have directional air flow so it blows up towards the ceiling or flat into the centre of the room. The remote control is magnetized so it clings to the top of the fan...never to be misplaced. I have other Dyson products and they have proven to be work-horses. Although it seems expensive, it addresses numerous situations. Oh, side note...a left the front door open and my husband had started the car in the driveway. The fumes got in the house and the fan immediately jumped into yellow mode and the digital display showed a car with exhaust and it started cleaning the air. Same for pollen. Don't hesitate to purchase. This unit has been sold out up here in Canada for a reason. I got one of the last ones.
