Please select the appropriate option

Washing the filter

Remove the filter unit by twisting anticlockwise to the open position. Gently pull away from the appliance.

Wash the inside of the filter unit first; hold it upright under the cold water tap and agitate using a rotating motion.

Wash the outside of the filter unit; fill the unit with cold water, place your hand over the open end and shake gently.

Repeat washing the inside and outside of the filter unit until the water runs clear.

Gently tap the filter unit to remove any excess water and leave to dry with the open end facing up.

Drying the filter

Leave the filter unit to dry completely for a minimum of 24 hours.

WARNING: Do not put the filter in a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, oven, microwave, or near a naked flame.

Replacing the filter

Check that the filter unit is completely dry.

To refit, return the filter unit to the open position and twist clockwise until it clicks into place.

Push the cyclone release catch away from the handle of the machine until the bin base opens.

With the bin base open, press the red bin release catch on the underside of the bin and remove it away from the machine.

Select the correct floor tool you are using on your machine.

Which floor tool are you having issues with?

Clear the floor tool

With the floor tool removed from the machine, turn over and undo the fastener.

Rotate the end cap to unlock and remove.

Remove the brushbars and clear away any hair or debris.

Pull end cap away from the brushbar, clean and re-connect.

Check the openings for any blockages, remove as necessary and replace the brushbars.

Use a coin to lock the fastener, then re-assemble and test the machine.

Clear the floor tool

Run the machine

Remove all tools and accessories from the machine.

Put the machine in max power mode by sliding the switch towards max.

Pull and hold the trigger for 10 seconds.

Does the machine make a pulsating sound without any tools?

Check the machine inlet

Check the inlet at the front of the machine for any blockages and remove as neccesary.

Pull and hold the trigger for 10 seconds.

Has checking the inlet for blockages resolved the problem?

Remove the bin and turn on the machine

Push the cyclone release catch away from the handle of the machine until the bin base opens.

With the bin base open, press the red bin release catch on the underside of the bin and remove it away from the machine.

Press and hold the trigger for 10 seconds.

Does the machine pulsate with the bin removed?

Check the cyclone

With the bin removed, hold the machine pointing downwards into a bin and tap the top of the cyclone with the palm of your hand.

Do this to remove any large dirt or dust that may be stuck in the cyclones.

Retest the machine

Press and hold the trigger for 10 seconds.

Has checking the cyclone resolved the problem?

Check the filter light on the handle

With the trigger pulled, check the filter light on the handle of the machine.

Does the filter light come on solid when the trigger is pulled?

Refit the filter correctly

The filter indicator will flash intermittently when the filter unit is not fitted correctly.

To refit, return the filter unit to the open position and twist clockwise until it clicks into place.

Has the filter light stopped flashing?

Check the bin for blockages

Ensure the bin is completely empty of any dust and debris. This may require the bin to be cycled open and closed to remove any dust stuck in the shroud or cyclone inlet.

With the bin removed, check the opening into the side of the cyclone for any debris that could be causing a blockage and remove as necessary.

Has checking the bin resolved the problem?

Checking the wand

Remove the wand from the bin inlet.

Check both ends of the wand for blockages and remove as necessary.

Re-assemble and test the machine.

Has checking the wand resolved the problem?

Check the mini motorized head

Put the mini motorized head on the machine.

Press and hold the trigger for 10 seconds.

Does the machine pulsate and cut out with the Mini motorized head?

Clear the mini motorized head

With the tool removed from the machine, remove brushbar and clear away any hair of fibre.

Check the opening for blockages and remove as necessary.

Refit the brushbar ensuring that no bristles get stuck in either end, then re-assemble and test the machine.

Has clearing the Mini motorized head resolved the problem?

Test the floor tool

Attach the main floor tool directly onto the bin inlet (without the wand).

The floor tool shown may vary from the product selected but the process remains the same.

Press and hold trigger for 10 seconds.

Does the machine pulsate and cut out with the floor tool attached?

Pull the trigger and run the machine. Looking through the clear window in the cleanerhead, check to ensure the brushbar is spinning.

Check wand for blockages

Remove the wand from the machine. Holding the wand horizontally, look through the end and check and for any obstructions. Remove as necessary.

Re-assemble and test the machine.

Has checking the wand resolved the issue?

Empty the clear bin

Empty as soon as the dirt reaches the level of the max mark - do not overfill. Ensure the appliance is disconnected from the charger before emptying the clear bin. Be careful not to pull the 'ON' trigger.

Ensure the wand is removed from the front of the bin.

To release the dirt:
Hold the appliance with the bin in a downwards position.
Firmly push the red bin release button.
The bin will slide down, cleaning the shroud as it goes.
The bin base will then open.
The bin base will not open if the red button is not pushed down fully.

Re-assemble and test the machine.

Has emptying the bin resolved the issue?

Check the bin inlet

With the wand and any other tools removed from the front of the bin, check inside the inlet at the front of the machine for any blockages and remove as necessary.

Re-assemble and test the machine.

Has checking the bin inlet resolved the issue?

Remove the clear bin

Fully push the red bin release lever away from the handle of the machine.

Press and hold the red catch on the underside of the bin and slide the bin off the machine.

Check bin seals

Check the seals around the top of the bin where it fits to the machine and check the seals around the rim of the bin lid for any damage.

Check the cyclone shroud and inlet

With the bin removed, check that there is no build up of dust and debris around the cyclone shroud. Remove as necessary.

With the machine facing away from you, on the right hand side of the cyclone you will find a small inlet.

Check the inlet for any dust, debris, or fibres, and remove as necessary.

Re-assemble and test the machine.

Has any part of the machine been washed?

Only the filter can be washed, the bin can be cleaned with a damp cloth only, and both must be completely dry before being re-fitted to the machine.

Unplug machine from charger

Make sure the machine is unplugged from the charger.

Does the machine currently have power?

Test the power

Remove the machine from the charger and ensure it's fully assembled.

Pull the power trigger.

Does the machine have power?

Clear the floor tool

With the floor tool removed from the machine, turn over and undo the fastener.

Rotate the end cap to unlock and remove.

Remove the brushbar and clear away any hair or debris.

Is the brushbar spinning constantly?

Test the floor tool

Test the floor tool on a surface where it has previously stalled.

Does the brushbar spin while in contact with the floor?

Is this surface a long pile carpet or rug?

Try on short-pile carpet

Try the tool on a low pile carpet.

Does the brushbar spin while in contact with the short-pile carpet?

Change power mode

Locate the power mode slider on the top of your machine.

Move the slider to the position closest to the filter, into suction mode 1.

Test the machine.

Does the brushbar spin while in contact with the long-pile carpet?

Locate the power mode slider on the top of your machine.

Move the slider to the position closest to the filter, into suction mode 1.

Test the wand

Check the front inlet

Check the front inlet connections to ensure that they are not bent or damaged.

Which part is difficult to remove?

Removing the bin

Fully push the red bin release lever away from the handle of the machine.

Press and hold the red catch on the underside of the bin and slide the bin off the machine.

Brushbar is slowing down

This behaviour is normal and expected on certain types of high resistance carpet.

How to attach the accessories

All the tools provided with the machine fit directly to the wand or the bin inlet.

Click the tools to the end of the wand assembly, ensuring the connections line up.

Remove the wand assembly. Place the tools directly onto the bin inlet until they click.

Attach the wand assembly to the machine via the bin inlet.

Attach the floor tool to the end of the wand until it clicks.

Installing the wall dock

Please note that wall fixings are not included with the dock assembly.

Feed the charger cable through the rear of the dock assembly, ensuring it is held via the retainer clip.

When securing the dock to the wall, ensure there is a distance of 1200m/47¼” from the floor. This is to allow the machine to sit in the dock without touching the floor.

How to charge the battery

The machine can be charged on the dock or by plugging the charger directly to the machine.

The light on the charger will show when the machine is being charged and will go out when charging is complete.

The battery should be fully charged after 3.5 hours.

To minimise dust/allergen contact when emptying, encase the clear bin tightly in a plastic bag and empty. Remove the clear bin carefully from the bag. Seal the bag tightly, dispose as normal.

Empty the clear bin

Empty as soon as the dirt reaches the level of the max mark - do not overfill. Ensure the appliance is disconnected from the charger before emptying the clear bin. Be careful not to pull the 'ON' trigger.

Remove the wand by pressing the red wand release button and pulling away from the bin.

To release the dirt:
Hold the appliance with the bin in a downwards position.
Firmly push the red bin release button.
The bin will slide down, cleaning the shroud as it goes.
The bin base will then open.
The bin base will not open if the red button is not pushed down fully.

Cleaning the clear bin

First ensure the bin is empty and the bin base is open.

Press the red button located on the bin runner to release the bin and slide the bin off the runner.

Clean the clear bin with a damp cloth only.

Ensure that the clear bin and seals are completely dry before replacing.

To refit the clear bin:
Insert the spine on to the bin runner.
Close the clear bin by pushing the bin base upwards until the clear bin and bin base click into place.

WARNING: The clear bin is not dishwasher safe and the use of detergents, polishes or air fresheners to clean the clear bin is not recommended as this may damage your appliance.

Rotate the end cap to unlock and remove.

Remove the brushbar and clear away any hair or debris.

Check the openings for any blockages, remove as necessary and replace the brushbar.

Use a coin to lock the fastener.

Re-assemble and test the machine.

Washing the brushbars

Turn the cleaner head upside down so the underside of the cleaner head is facing you.

Rotate the end cap to the open position.

WARNING: Beware of sharp objects when checking for blockages.

Rotate the end cap to unlock and remove.

Gently slide the large brushbar away from the cleaner head and remove the end cap from the brushbar.

Lift the smaller brushbar up to remove.

Wash both the large and small brushbar until the water runs clear.

Stand both brushbars upright, leave to dry completely for a minimum of 24 hours.

Re-fit the small brushbar first by inserting the round end of the small brushbar into place. Push down the octagonal end until it clicks into place.

Re-attach the end cap to the large brushbar.

Slide the large brushbar back onto the cleaner head around the motor. Once in place rotate the end cap back into the closed position.

Close the fastener by turning a quarter turn clockwise. Ensure that the fastener is fully turned and that both the base plate and brushbar is secure.

Beware of sharp objects when checking for blockages. If you cannot clear an obstruction you may need to remove the brushbar.

Use a coin to unlock the fastener marked with a padlock.

Carefully remove the brushbar and clear any debris.

Replace the brushbar and secure it by tightening the fastener.

Ensure it is fixed firmly before operating the appliance.

Re-connect the tool and test the machine.
